Mortgage Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process:

  • Your Social Security number
  • Your Current Drivers Lincense or Photo ID
  • Proof of Income - Most recent 30 days of pay stubs and most recent 2 years of W2s or, if self employed, your federal tax returns with a schedules for themost recent 2 years
  • Bank statements (checking/savings) for the past two months - funds for down payment and funds dues at closing.
  • Investment account statements for the past two months (may be required)
  • Retirement account statements for the past two months (may be required)
  • Make and model of vehicles you own and their resale value
  • All liability account information (autos, sutdent loans, credit cards, installment loans, alimony, child support, etc).
  • Alimony and/ or child support information (if applicable)
  • Homan resources contact information for your employer(s) for verification of employment purposes
  • Homeowners insurance policy and agent contact information

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage account information for all mortgages
  • Home equity loan account information (if applicable)
  • Homeowners insurance declatations page
  • Property tax annual amount, homeowners insurance annual premium and any applicable PMI or association dues information for all properties owned
  • Current escrow account information (if current lender pays your laxes and insurance)

If you currently are Purchasing a Home:

  • Final executed purchase contract
  • Final sellers disclosure
  • A copy of your earnest money check (typically given to yourrealtor with your offer to purchase)

If you are Refinancing:

  • A copy a recent mortgage statement for each mortgage  (preferably showing a breakdown of principal, interest, property taxes, homeowners insurance and any mortgage insurance)
